Angelina Jolie’s mother 'mess'

The 33-year-old beauty - whose French-Canadian mom passed away in January 2007 – is still struggling to come to terms with life without Marcheline Bertrand, and is worried she will never be as close to anyone else again.

A source said: "She has to keep it together for the sake of her kids, but she is only human and falls apart from time to time. She is still a mess over Marcheline's departure, believing no one understands her the way her mother did. They had a very strong bond that she feels she will never have with another person."

Angelina depends on partner Brad Pitt for support during her darkest times, and also relies on her children – adopted Maddox, seven, Pax, four, and Zahara, three, biological daughter Shiloh, two, and four-month-old twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline – to raise her spirits.

The source added: "Brad has been her rock, and he will always be there for her. Without his love, she would never have been able to cope.

"Maddox tries to cheer her up and makes her laugh and smile. She feels like she is the most privileged woman to have such an incredible family and has said her mother is a guardian angel over her household."

Earlier this month, Angelina broke down in tears while talking about her mom while promoting new film 'Changeling'.

She said: "She was really sweet and was never angry - she couldn't swear to save her life. But when it came to her kids, she was really fierce and so this is very much her, her story.

"She was the woman I related to, who had that elegance and strength through just knowing what was right."

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Plans Foreign Christmas

After recently admitting that traveling with six kids is difficult, Brad Pitt has revealed that he and Angelina plan to do just that for Christmas. The actor says he and Jolie want to spend the holidays in one of their three adopted children’s countries.

The couple’s son Maddox is from Cambodia, son Pax is from Vietnam and daughter Zahara is from Ethiopia. Biological daughter Shiloh was born in Namibia while Jolie gave birth to twins Knox and Vivienne in France in July.

“We wanna go to one of the kids’ places of origin and spend time there,” Pitt says.

Jolie and Pitt recently admitted that they want to adopt another child soon.

Angelina Jolie Next to Quit Acting.. “I Like Being at Home”

The four rarest words in the English language are .. “I love my job.” Name your dream job and you’ll find someone who has that job and can’t stand it. Early this month, Joaquin Phoenix quit acting to become a musician. Now, Angelina Jolie says she is leaving Hollywood too.

Last Thursday, in an interview with the BBC, Angelina Jolie said..
“I don’t plan to keep acting very long, I’m ready to do a few things now and fade away and get ready to be a grandma one day. So maybe it will be once a year and then maybe it will be once every three years, and then just naturally *poof* - I like being home a lot these days.” That *poof* was a creative touch..

In 2009, Angelina Jolie will star in the movie adaptation of the Ayn Rand classic Atlas Shrugged and one other film, The Mercenary, when they wrap, the fade begins.

Don’t think Brad Pitt is going to join Angelina on that couch; somebody has to keep those seven
teen kids above the poverty level.

Angelina Jolie Still a Punk at Heart

NEW YORK — Angelina Jolie may be seen as one of the most beautiful women in the world, but in her mind, she's "just a punk kid with tattoos."

The "Changeling" actress claims becoming a mother has not tamed her rebellious streak in a new interview with Harper's Bazaar.

She told the magazine: "I don't walk around feeling I need to apologize or explain myself. I am still, at heart — and always will be — just a punk kid with tattoos."

The 33-year-old actress — who is adamant she will never hide things from her children — has already spoken about the world's conflicts to her young brood.

Jolie said: "Listen, my kids play video games. I let them play with toy soldiers. We don't take war and violence lightly, but we don't hide it from anybody."

Angelina Jolie: For Your Viewing Pleasure

Choosing not to release any part of its Angelina Jolie interview before the magazine hits newsstands on Thursday, Harper's Bazaar UK has opted to simply unveil the cover shot instead.

Which is certainly OK with us since, given the stunning nature of this pic, they may have put out the best part of the issue anyway.

Sure, we're kind of intrigued by what Angie has to reveal in the upcoming story, but we doubt it'll be as good as what we imagine she's saying right now with that come-hither stare.
