Ms. Jolie was nominated Tuesday for a Spirit Award for her role in A Mighty Heart, based on the life of slain American journalist Daniel Pearl. The Spirit Award honors work in independent films. She won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for Girl, Interrupted, in 2000.
